For March, we’re highlighting some of our team’s favorite features — some you may know about, and some you may not! These are different aspects of Axle AI with one thing in common: they all make it easier for you and your team to work with video, audio and graphics, whether you’re in the office or working remotely.

This week, let’s look at two ways to track activity in Axle…

Axle AI makes it radically simple… to monitor activity in your Axle database

When working with media in Axle, it can be helpful to know what’s going on behind the scenes. The main Axle interface features a collapsible status panel, found in the bottom right of the Axle window. This panel gives users insight into back end processes like file transcoding, archive status, uploads and proxy creation. Standard users can use this tool to monitor current processes and keep aware of any errors.

There’s another layer of monitoring available to system administrators: the Logs Section of the Administrator Pages provides a detailed activity history, helping admins track user activity in the Axle system.
