Adobe panel
To start, to see our Premier Pro panel you should request the download link from any of the team members at Axle. Once you download the file, you’re going to be able to find the button under window extensions Axle AI. Once this pop-up opens up you can log in to the panel by simply typing in the IP address or local host if you’re working within the network. Or if you’re working remotely, you can simply type in the link.
Once you log into the panel, you’re going to see an exact replica of the Axle interface within the panel. So you can navigate through your catalogs. You can find your files by performing searches or by simply browsing through the catalogs. You can see the actual status of files and you can bring in all your bins with the corresponding in and out points of the files. So if I were to select any of these bins, Amsterdam 1, and click import because I am working remotely the system is going to notify that the storage is remote. This is where I get to choose what I want to work with: the high-risk file or the low-res proxy. Once I select what I want to work with, the download process is going to start you can see the progress from the show-up to the downloads bar. You can also select the destination of the download by clicking on … menu update download path. Ultimately, Axle is going to create a download Pass for you in your documents.
Now remember, this is only occurring because I’m working remotely. If you’re working in the office, there is no download process involved. Axle is simply going to find the files within the storage and bring it into the editor.
Now I’m going to go over to my bin “C” to show active downloads and I’m going to give it a second to finish downloading. Once the download finishes, you’re going to find the bin that you created within the Premiere Pro project. So you’ll see the AMS1 in there and if I double-click on it, I’m going to find all the samples that I created within Axle.
Now, keep in mind that Axle is still going to bring in the entire clip but with an in-and-out point smart. So when you try to change your timeline, you’re only dragging the clip that you created in Axle. But you can then change the endpoint at the start point of the clip. You can also use the Axle Adobe panel in all their applications, such as Illustrator, and InDesign.
